Inspiration behind Al-Tazid Foundation
Al-Tazid Foundation was established by Boshor Ali in loving memory of his late father, Tazid Ali — a man whose life was defined by compassion, humility, and an unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Although he spent much of his life in England, Tazid Ali remained deeply connected to his roots in Sylhet. He quietly supported struggling families in his village, regularly providing financial assistance, clothing, and essential supplies. His acts of kindness were never for recognition, but for the sincere upliftment of others.
Inspired by this legacy, Boshor Ali set out with a vision — not only to continue his father’s work, but to expand it in a structured, impactful, and sustainable way.
Reflecting on this journey, he questioned: “How can we ensure that meaningful, targeted support reaches those who need it most — especially in remote communities where hardship often goes unseen?”
Through dedication and determination, the Foundation developed a system to identify genuine need and deliver life-changing support. With the help of committed volunteers and team members across the UK and Bangladesh, projects are carefully implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.
At the same time, the Foundation has worked tirelessly to build strong community support. From fundraising events to partnerships with schools, businesses, and faith organisations, every effort has been driven by one goal — to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.
The Foundation proudly operates a 100% donation policy, ensuring that every penny given goes directly to supporting beneficiaries. Trustees and committee members personally cover their own expenses, reinforcing a culture of trust, integrity, and selfless service.
